Just replaced the pair I purchased in 2014, yes 11 years they lasted. I did nothing other than wear this shoes. I think had I put leather cream or oil on them they'd look better. The only reason I'm getting new ones is the sole is just about to develop holes. I've literally worn them out and it is that very reason I bought the exact same shoe. Very comfortable, I even wore them off the bike. Sizing is correct and consistent. I wear size 10. My first pair was a 10 and so are the new ones. I read reviews that stated they ran small, they do not. Keep in mind they are real leather so they require some break in. Shoes by nature will widen and shorten a bit. My only wish is that the waterproofing, which is 100% not necessary in a shoe like this, was Gore-Tex. I'm a retired ski patroller of 22 years and nothing, absolutely nothing beats Gore-Tex for breathability. Perhaps a non-waterproof version could be made. Stylmartin customer service is great .
