While advertised for hot weather, the Vertigo Air is a comfortable and sturdy boot. They feel good all around and the armored padding is robust; these feel like great protection. However, the venting described is not as robust as you might think from reading the website. My feet are not quite as drenched as I experience in GoreTex boots, but they do sweat plenty in these. Something I was hoping to avoid with this purchase.
If you are looking for a very well made, sturdy, comfortable riding boot suitable for excursions both on and off the bike these are the boots for you. Look elsewhere for a boot with superior venting in hot weather.
